ID8653 High Performance Hall-effect Current Sensors 1. Features and Benefits 4. Description ◼ The ID8653 is a high-performance Hall-effect current sensor capable of measuring DC or AC currents more effectively. It boasts advantages such as high accuracy, excellent linearity, and superior temperature stability, making it widely applicable in industrial, consumer, and communication devices. ◼ The reference provides two modes: built-in VREF output and external VREF input: • VREF output, VOE can be programmed to <5mV. • External VREF input, the static output voltage (VOUT) aligns with the input. Wide measurement range with multiple current ratings: 5A, 10A, 20A, 25A, 30A, 40A, 50A, 60A. ◼ High isolation withstand voltage: 3750VRMS safety isolation between conductor pins and signal pins. ◼ High bandwidth (230kHz), low noise, singleended analog output. ◼ Low power loss with conductor resistance of 0.5mΩ. ◼ Step response time of 1.5μs. ◼ Room temperature error ±1%, sensitivity temperature drifts up to ±2.5%. ◼ Excellent temperature stability with Hall signal amplification circuit and temperature compensation circuit. ◼ Differential Hall structure for strong resistance to external magnetic interference. ◼ ESD (HBM) 4kV, ESD (CDM) 1kV, LU 200mA. 2. The ID8653 integrates a high-precision, low-noise linear Hall circuit and a low-impedance primary current conductor. The ultra-low impedance conductor of 0.5mΩ minimizes power loss and heat dissipation. The inherent insulation within the device provides a 3.75kVRMS insulation withstand voltage between the primary and secondary circuits. The sensor employs linear Hall sensor temperature compensation technology, ensuring high temperature stability. The integrated differential common-mode rejection circuit in the ID8653 ensures that the chip's output is unaffected by external magnetic interference. Additionally, the integrated dynamic offset cancellation circuit ensures that the chip's sensitivity remains unaffected by external pressure and package stress. The ID8653 is offered in an SOP8 package, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, and complies with RoHS regulations. 5. Package 3.
