It eliminates the need for a BALUN typical with high-performance high-speed ADCs, achieving outstanding low frequency and dc accuracy in terms of input voltage and current offset. The common-mode level of the differential output is programmable by VOCM pin, with a wide range within 1 V to either rail, easily level shifting the input signals for driving single supply differential input ADCs. The combination of these features also makes ZJA3101 an ideal driver for high performance Σ-Δ and SAR ADCs, which demands both DC precision and fast settling time for the large sampling cap of ADC. The ZJA3101 may serve as a differential line driver for highspeed signals over low cost twisted pair or coaxial cables. The wide supply range lends itself well to extensive general applications, such as analog or digital video signaling. The external feedback network can be optimized to boost the high frequency components of the signal in order to accommodate low pass filtering of the signal channel. The ZJA3101 yields significant cost saving, performance enhancement and area reduction over discrete line driver solutions.
