The timer is fully compatible with the CMOS, TTL, and MOS. The operating frequency is up to 6MHz. Low power consumption can be maintained throughout the entire power supply voltage range. The threshold and trigger levels normally are two-thirds and one-third, respectively of V DD. These levels can be altered by use of the control-voltage terminal. When the trigger input falls below the trigger level, the flip-flop is set, and the output goes high. if the trigger input is above the threshold level, the flip-flop is reset and the output is low. The reset Input (RESET) can be used to start a new timing cycle. When the RESET is low, the output can be pulled down low. By default, the RESET pins are connected high.
