SPI Interface/Data Converter Isolation Industrial fieldbus isolation Overview The Model BLD772x dual-channel digital magnetic isolator is designed and manufactured using CMOS and MEMS processes to provide a high-performance alternative to optocouplers. The BLD772x is a dual-channel digital isolator based on electromagnetic isolation that provides complete electrical isolation between input and output. The circuit is powered separately at both ends and can operate from a 2.7V to 5.5-V supply voltage with 3-V/5-V level translation. The two data channels are completely independent, allowing the input data to be high frequency encoded and recovered at the receiving end without distortion. The circuit can withstand isolation voltages up to 5000 V and has a common-mode transient immunity of greater than 25 kV/µs. Use 1.
